We are a referral center for prenatal diagnosis and care for patients from all over San Diego County, Riverside County, Hawaii, Guam and Saipan. We perform more than 20,000 ultrasound procedures each year using state-of-the-art equipment that is certified by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine for providing the highest level of care. In addition, we are a qualified State of California Prenatal Diagnosis Center where high-risk pregnancy patients are referred for genetic counseling and prenatal diagnostic services.

Diagnostic ultrasound: Ultrasound to screen for fetal anomalies is best performed between 18 and 22 weeks gestation. Fetal echocardiogram is ideally done at 22 to 24 weeks gestation and is recommended for certain women with high-risk pregnancies, such as those with diabetes or a family history of congenital heart defects, those taking certain medications, or those who conceived with in vitro fertilization.
