Dr. Casele joined San Diego Perinatal Center in 2005. She is chief of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division of Rady Children’s Specialists of San Diego. She is an internationally recognized expert in thrombotic disorders and prevention of thromboembolism. Her clinical interests include prenatal diagnosis, thrombophilias, recurrent pregnancy loss and autoimmune conditions in pregnancy. She received her medical degree and residency training at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed her maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Magee Women’s Hospital. She has consistently been named a San Diego Magazine Top Doctor since 2007.
