Please note Dr. Catanzarite is no longer seeing patients but is involved in resident education and continuing medical education in the community. The founding partner of San Diego Perinatal Center, he has special expertise in first trimester screening ultrasound, echocardiography and is interested in preterm birth prevention, caring for pregnant women over 45, and those with congenital heart disease. Dr. Catanzarite received his medical degree from University of California San Diego School of Medicine and Ph.D. from University of California Berkeley, and completed a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at University of New Mexico Medical Center. He is fluent in Spanish and speaks conversational Russian.
