Our physicians are obstetricians who have received additional training in the sub-specialty of maternal-fetal medicine. We have experience and expertise in prenatal diagnosis of congenital abnormalities, care for women with multiple gestations (twins, triplets or more), care for women with obstetric complications of past pregnancies or their current pregnancies — with health issues ranging from asthma to diabetes to heart disease — and care for women carrying babies with birth defects. As a division of Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns, we collaborate with leading pediatric cardiologists, neonatologists and other specialists to give you and your newborn the best possible care.
Sharp Mary Birch Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians work with obstetricians who deliver at all local hospitals. Any deliveries with our physicians, and all total obstetric care patient deliveries, are at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital.
